Today, your smart little people had the opportunity to participate in a mock presidential election. We each cast our votes for one of the presidential candidates. Check out some of our pictures as we completed this process.

A Visit from a Slithery Friend
We had a very special visit from a slithery friend today! We have learned so much about mammals and reptiles! Special thanks to Avery's mom and brother for bringing their corn snake for us to see today! Not only did many of these brave little people look at the snake, but HELD it, too!

Mem Fox Author Study

Experimenting with Oobleck
We have finally come to the end of our Dr. Seuss celebration! After reading his book, Bartholomew and the Oobleck, we were able to experiment with this ooey, gooey substance. On Thursday, we made predictions about whether or not the oobleck was solid or liquid. Most of our friends predicted that it would be liquid because in the book, it was falling from the sky. However, after their experiments today, check out what these little scientists concluded.
Australian Butterflies
We have had such a great time this week going to the computer lab with Mrs. Hamrac, our marvelous computer teacher, to research about Australian butterflies! Please enjoy the presentations we have made.
