Our Gingerbread Man Hunt
We had so much fun on our gingerbread hunt! We expected to find him waiting for us in the oven. Much to our surprise, he had run away, but he left us a note to help us find him. The first note took us to the milk, then the office, then the playground, and last, but not least, his special notes brought us back to our classroom where he was happily waiting for us to eat him. After lunch, we each enjoyed a special piece of this yummy treat! I would like to give a special thanks to Evan Meadows' family for helping make this possible!
The Feast
Today, we had our very own Thanksgiving Feast! We read a story about the first Thanksgiving feast and decided that it would be a good idea for us to have our very own feast. We made placemats with a turkey poem and wrote and illustrated what we are thankful for! Then, we ate our lunches at a very long table :)I hope you will enjoy your child's placemat this Thanksgiving holiday. Have a wonderful and safe Thanksgiving! I am so thankful for such a wonderful class and group of parents!
Our Flight to Africa
Wow! What a fun and exciting day we've had! We started at the airport at 8:30 this morning and we landed safely in Africa around 1:15. Thank you so much to so many of you that came out to enjoy the day with us at the flight and/or the holiday meal. Have a great weekend!
Field Trip to the Airport
We had SO much fun at the airport. This was truly one of the best and most informative trips I have ever taken a group of children on. I hope you will enjoy our pictures.
